Fringe Blog: The No Bull$#!% History of Canada - Part 2

The No Bull$#!% History of Canada Blog
Part 2
by Danielle A. Caddell
Last time on The No Bull$#!% History of Canada Blog we learned of Kyle Allatt's love of Toronto street meat, Murdering drifters and Fringe shows he can't remember. We now move on to our secondary character who steps into frame; Danielle the Producer.
Now to start off, I am not a writer so my blogs from now on will be quite short and after this one contain many photos. Also this will be my first time at the Toronto Fringe so please go gentle TO.
Mind you I'm not a Fringe virgin, oh no the Montreal Fringe Popped that cherry 5 years ago and since then I've been to the Hamilton Fringe, New York Frigid twice, and the Minnesota Fringe 4 times as well as produced a show at the Atlantic Fringe last year.

I love Fringe festivals because they give so many wonderful creative people the chance to try new ideas. Some of the best shows I've ever seen have been fringe shows.
What I'm looking forward to:
Shows:
New and unique shows to capture my imagination. I must admit I am in Toronto as a sort of double agent. I'm also in town as Artistic Director of Beyond the Mountain, so along with my General Manager Sara Rodriguez (who will also be in town for a few weeks) I'll be looking out for new and creative shows that we might be interested in bringing to Montreal in the future.
New restaurants:
Kyle seems to be very excited to bring me to his favourite restaurants and he is not alone, my billeters aka close friends Kyla and Eric also seem exuberant at the chance to show me around their favourite eateries especially Eric.
My long lost friends:
Toronto has a tendency to accumulate friends of mine who once upon a time lived in Montreal but decided money was pretty cool and moved to Toronto.
I realize my list is very similar to Kyle's but I suppose these 3 things are why most people visit Toronto.
Now take me to your leader TORONTO! ...or a nice bar...whatever...
Lots of Hugs
Danielle
