A Dora Awards Photo Album

No one out-dresses our Senior Reviewer Beat Rice our Associate Editor Dave Ross.

Whoa! They're off to something special!
Nicole Underhay and Ashlie Corcoran. Ms Underhay was nominated for
outstanding performance by a female in a principal role (gen div) for 
The Small Room at the Top of The Stairs. We called Ms Underhay's performance "seamless".

she was also in Seussical herself and is on Canada Sings

The dashing Victor Dolhai (with Beat). Mr Dolhia is now on stage in Much Ado
at Stratford
Let's not forget the Doras are also about dance!
The appropriately named Linnea Swan (with Beat). Ms Swann
was nominated for outstanding performance in Four Mad Humours.

Now on to the show!

Opening Number
The beloved Arlene Duncan accepts for outstanding performance
by a female in a musical for the beloved Caroline, Or Change.
We called Ms Duncan's performance "earth-shattering"
Pamela Mala Sinha accepts for outstanding new play
for Crash. Of Ms Sinha's performance we wrote, "...Crash is a play that doesn’t need too many fancy things, because it is Pamela Sinha’s storytelling that holds the show together."
The team from War Horse accepts for best choreography. We called the show, "Stunning, emotional and amazing."
Choreographer Christopher House accepts the 
Silver Ticket Award for outstanding contribution
Thom Allison closes things up...in style!
