News: Acting Up Stage announces unique 2012-13 season

Caroline, or Change

After delivering on the goods with a raved-over production of Caroline, or Change, Acting Up Stage is going into a new year with two productions which will continue to test the quality of the company.

In a co-production with Factory Theatre, they are bringing in a hit from Vancouver, in February, 2013: Do You Want What I Have Got? A Craigslist Cantata. They are following, in April, with another unique and difficult work, this time about love and family in the age of AIDS, Falsettos. (The premiere of the work, in New York in 1992, not only opened people's eyes to the redefinition of family, but also - like Caroline, Or Change - challenged the very definition of musical theatre.)
